Josiah grew up in the Amazon completely convinced that he was the luckiest kid on Earth, but when tragedy struck at the age of 13, God revealed to him a much greater identity.
YOU’VE SEEN THE FILM,
HERE ARE SOME NEXT STEPS
Read Matthew 9:35-38 and ponder Jesus’ statement, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few”. Ask yourself whether or not the same is true today. Consider your work, your neighborhood, or even your home. Is the harvest still plentiful? Are you laboring to bring the Gospel to those who are like “sheep without a shepherd”?
Understand that there is no way for us to follow Christ on our own and that’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit. So ask the Spirit to empower you to be a laborer to the harvest and make disciples. The truth of the matter is that we cannot do it alone, but the beautiful part about it is that we aren’t alone. We can stand firm on Jesus’ promise that He “will be with us always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
SHAREProudly proclaim the magnificent love and grace of Jesus Christ by sharing this film with your friends, family, and coworkers online, in your living room, or at church.

Project AmaZon is a church-planting and disciple-making ministry that has a vision to plant 100,000 churches, concentrating on the unreached Amazon Basin and moving out to all of Brazil and the world. Since it’s beginning in 1976, PAZ (Project AmaZon) has planted over 600 churches and has raised up thousands of leaders. These leaders are reproducing themselves in the lives of others and sending teams out to other needy places to start the process all over again.
Josiah was born and raised on the mission field in Santarém, Brazil. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree at Oral Roberts University, Josiah and his wife, Jennifer, joined Project AmaZon to work with cell groups, train leaders, and plant churches in some inland jungle communities along the Tapajós River. After serving in Brazil for nearly nine years, Josiah and Jennifer moved to Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan, where they now reside and continue serving the Lord by sharing the love and grace of Jesus Christ in a brand new culture.

PARENTING IN THE AMAZON
We met Josiah while visiting Project Amazon, the ministry his father founded in Santarém, Brazil in 1977. It was exciting to see how the Lord is working through him and his wife, Jennifer, as we traveled with them to a church plant in the Amazon jungle and witnessed, first-hand, the fruit of the Christ-like discipleship of his parents, Luke and Christine.

GOD IS MOVING ALL OVER THE GLOBE, HERE IS WHY WE CHOSE THIS STORY:
Josiah is a story about parenthood and discipleship modeled after Jesus’ own example. We believe this film brings glory to God by showing the great joy and eternal fruit of following Christ in this way.
Discipleship and mission are inseparable. Luke and Christine Huber’s lives as parents were defined by discipleship and our hope is that exposing God’s work in them will stir others to do the same.
PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL
The Gospel is proclaimed in the lives of Luke and Christine and Josiah and Jennifer Huber. Without the life-changing truth of the Gospel, this story does not exist and our hope is that same truth will sink into the hearts of those who see this film.
