We met Josiah while visiting Project Amazon, the ministry his father founded in Santarém, Brazil in 1977. It was exciting to see how the Lord is working through him and his wife, Jennifer, as we traveled with them to a church plant in the Amazon jungle and witnessed, first-hand, the fruit of the Christ-like discipleship of his parents, Luke and Christine.
Read God’s word everyday. Meditate on it, talk about it with fellow believers, and ask yourself this simple question: “Am I following Jesus’ command to make disciples in my life?”
Understand that there is no way for us to follow Christ on our own and that’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit. So ask the Spirit to empower you to live out Christ’s command to make disciples. We desperately need His guidance to accomplish this task, but you can rest assure that He “will be with us always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
Proclaim the work of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by sharing this film with your friends, family and coworkers. It is a good way to get a conversation started and trust that the Holy Spirit will take it where it needs to go.
