Peter Craig: Executive Director | Filmmaker | Husband and Father of Two
Peter’s passion for filmmaking began at the age of nine and has been a guiding force in his life. His love for the art led him to making over 50 (mostly embarrassing) movies as a child, going days on end without sleep or sufficient food in film school and ultimately writing and directing an eclectic portfolio of award-winning films which have been shown at AFI Fest, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, Los Angeles Film Festival and many more. His work has garnered further recognition in national ad campaigns for Converse and Travelocity, broadcast programming on IFC, and by winning numerous awards including the BAFTA Award of Excellence (SXSW). In addition to writing projects for Sony Pictures and NBCUniversal, Peter’s feature script, Green, was selected for the Sundance Institute’s Screenwriter’s Lab and Film Independent’s Fast Track Program and his follow-up script, Relativity, was purchased and is in development at Walden Media.
But even more defining than Peter’s desire to make films is his growing passion for the Gospel. By God’s grace and the power of His Word, Peter’s desire to see God be glorified has led him to redirect his focus from making Hollywood films to the even more exciting goal of seeing God’s name proclaimed throughout the nations. This pursuit began after Peter and his wife felt the Lord’s leading to adopt a child from Ethiopia. This process opened Peter’s eyes to God’s grand pursuit to reach the nations and compelled Peter to join the cause full-time. Over the past year, Peter has traveled to Haiti, Ethiopia, Turkey and Iraq witnessing the inspiring obedience of fellow believers, filming the struggles of the countries and, most importantly, revealing how God is moving in each context. These experiences have led him to starting Moving Works, a filmmaking ministry focused on bringing glory to God by making films of His “wonderful acts” throughout the world.

Chris Mackenzie: Business Owner | Soccer Aficionado | Husband and Father of Two
Chris’ passion for God’s global purposes took shape in 2006 after making the decision to adopt internationally while on a beach in Mexico with his wife, Leigh. After months of paperwork, a child from Ethiopia was selected who was born exactly nine months after the day God laid it on their hearts to adopt. On that beach…on that exact day…their future daughter was conceived. God is so big!
Chris, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, is owner/partner of the investment firm, Investment Planners, Inc. Chris and his wife, Leigh, have a biological son Julian, in addition to their adopted daughter, Isabella. Since adopting, Chris has traveled back to Ethiopia in support of several ministries that take care of children in need as well as spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Chris has a passion for soccer and brings to the table his knowledge of finance, budgeting, and stewardship. In addition, Chris is prepared to travel with Moving Works to the most remote areas of this world to help show just how amazing our God is.
