Jesus is the Hero
The primary goal of the films we make is to glorify God. We do this by making films about His Son. This means each film must speak of either who Christ is (His Character), what Christ Says (His Word), and what Christ is doing (His Mission). We do not make promotional videos nor do we make film about ministries. We tell stories about God’s presence, His truths and what He is doing in the hearts and minds of those who follow Him. Promoting specific ministry efforts is a secondary fruit of that idea. To put it more simply, every story has a hero. The hero of each and every story we tell is Jesus.
Our Story Partners
The ministries/believers that we partner with can range in size and scope. They can be single individuals, churches, or large organizations, but their efforts must focus on glorifying God by obeying the Great Commission. This means they must proclaim the name of Jesus, teach God’s Word and make disciples. Humanitarian efforts are needed, but are only temporary. Since Moving Works makes films about Jesus, the name of Christ must be lifted up in the stories we tell. On the other hand, if a ministry is truly proclaiming the name of Jesus, His presence should be seen in a very tangible way (James 2:14-17). This means the hungry are being fed, the strangers are being invited in, the naked are being clothed, the sick are being looked after (Matthew 25:34-36) and, most importantly, the lost being are found (Luke 15:32).
