It’s all About Him
The primary goal of the films we make is to glorify God. This means each story must speak of God’s existence, His character and how He is working through the sacrificial obedience of His servants. As in scripture, God uses ordinary, sinful people to accomplish His divine purposes. Therefore it is imperative that our stories are told from that same point of view. We do not make promotional videos nor do we make videos about ministries. We tell stories about God’s truths, His transformative power and what He is doing in the hearts and minds of those who follow Him. Promoting ministry efforts is a secondary fruit of that idea.
Great Commission Stories
The ministries/believers that we partner with can range in size and scope. They can be single individuals or large organizations, but their efforts must focus on accomplishing the Great Commission in some capacity. This means they must proclaim the name of Jesus, teach God’s Word and make disciples. Humanitarian efforts are needed, but are only temporary. Because Moving Works is a Christ-exalting ministry, the name of Jesus must be lifted up in the stories we tell. On the other hand, if a ministry is truly proclaiming the name of Christ, His presence should be seen in a very tangible way (James 2:14-17). This means the hungry are being fed, the strangers are being invited in, the naked are being clothed, the sick are being looked after (Matthew 25:34-36) and, most importantly, the lost being are found (Luke 15:32).
