Moving Works Makes Films About Jesus To:
Psalm 105:1-2 proclaims, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.” Moving Works seeks to do this by making films about Jesus: Who He is (His Character), What He says (His Word), and What He is Doing (His Mission). We don’t make promotional videos. We strive to makes films about God Himself and the life-altering effects of His redemptive story. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we believe these films bring glory to God and can change lives in an eternal way. After all, He is the creator of the universe, the sustainer of all things, and the provider of eternal redemption through the death and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ!
There is One God with One Mission for His followers: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20. As followers of Christ, we are all called to make disciples, but what does that really look and feel like? That’s where Moving Works desires to help. By God’s grace and the power of His Spirit, we make films about God’s Character, His Word, and His Mission to show the Great Commission being lived out and inspire believers to embrace God-given calling to spread the Gospel, whether it’s across the globe or across the street.
Proclaim the Gospel
Moving Works does not exist to sidestep the church to proclaim the Gospel. We exist to better equip it. 1 Corinthians 12:12 states it best, “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; they form one body. So it is with Christ.” This means that we need to work together, not as independent parts seeking to complete our own missions, but as one body striving to accomplish His. This is why we desire to partner with Gospel-centered churches, organizations, and individuals to document and distribute films about Jesus free of charge. In the end, our hope is that the Holy Spirit will use these stories to reveal the truth of Christ to those who don’t know him and light a fire under those who do.
